SYS Aquathon – Hatfield

We are excited to announce that this years series of SYS Aquathons have been ‘powered by Aqua Sphere’ who, as a company, are focused on developing products that active swimmers, triathletes and water enthusiasts desire.  Aqua Sphere provide a full range of swimming wetsuits recommended by the team at SYS.

This year we have two series of SYS AQUATHONS POWERED BY AQUA SPHERE – one at Thrybergh Country Park, Rotherham and one at Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre, Doncaster.

An aquathon is a SWIM-RUN event, and at both venues we have a short and long course – so whether you are new to multi-discipline sports or an old-hand we have events that will test, stretch, challenge and encourage you!

The Hatfield short courses involves a swim of approximately 200-400m and a run of 1.2km (one circuit of the lake)

Long courses involve a swim of between 600-800m and a run of 3.6km (3 times around the lake)

Each event costs £10 (including your swim fee, which is usually £5) HOWEVER, you can sign up to the whole series of FIVE Aquathons at each site for only £40.00!

By completing the following registration you are signing up to take part in the SYS HATFIELD AQUATHON SERIES on the following dates:

Saturday 17th June

Saturday 29th July

Saturday 26th August

Saturday 23rd September

All these events will require you to be a member of Swimyourswim, which you do by completing a membership form at our reception desk (Membership is FREE).

These events will begin at 9:00am, and we ask that you register at least 30mins before each event and attend the race briefing 10 minutes before the event start.

Prize Goody-bags will be given to first places on both long and short courses with a special prize for ‘most deserving athlete at the event’ given at the event directors’ discretion.  Prize giving will happen after the event has finished.
