We are having a Christmas party and we’d love you to be there. The Hatfields is great pub just around the corner from Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre, where we swim each week. We’ll be having a 3 course Christmassy meal there on 21st December, from 7pm.
Tickets cost £15.50* each and you just need to book them through this site, and then let us know by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) what you’d like from the following menu choices:
Broccoli & Long Clawson Stilton Soup (V) – Topped with croutons, with a bread roll and butter.
Brie, Cranberry & Ginger Jam Parcels (V) – . Pastry parcels filled with a sweet, tangy ginger jam, cranberries and chunks of brie. Served with a salad garnish and festive mayo dip.
King Prawn Cocktail – Served with brown bread and butter.
Chicken Liver Pâté – A smooth chicken and pork liver pate with redcurrant and mulled wine chutney. Served with toast and butter.
Garlic Bread Bruschetta (Ve) – Served with a salad garnish.
All the main courses are served with roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
Roast Turkey – Hand-carved and served with sage and onion stuffing, pork, cranberry and apricot chipolatas and cranberry sauce.
Beef with Brandy and Redcurrant– Slow cooked beef with roasted red onion and portobello mushrooms in a creamy brandy and redcurrant sauce.
Honey Roasted Root Veg Hot Pot (V) – Hand cut roasted root vegetables in a cranberry gravy, with a toasted chia seed crumble.
Seafood Pithvier – puff pastry parcel filled with smoked windermere haddock, pollock and king prawns in a leek, cheese and Champagne sauce.
Candled Nut Roast (Ve) – Candled cashews pecans and almonds with peanut butter, butternut squash, spinach and root vegetables. Topped with a sticky red onion and black cherry relish.
Christmas Pudding (V) – With brandy butter flavoured ice cream.
Belgium Chocolate Roulade (V).Chocolate sponge rolled with a rich Belgium chocolate filling. Topped with Belgium chocolate Ganache and finished with a continental truffle. Served with vanilla flavoured ice cream
Strawberry Shortbread Panna Cotta. shortbread biscuit topped with layers of panna cotta and glazed strawberry halves. Served with vanilla flavoured ice cream
Bread & Butter Pudding (V). Almond sponge studded with cranberries, baked together with brioche soaked in a vanilla egg custard. Finished with a sweet cranberry glazed a scattering of almonds. Served with custard.
Praline Chocolate Torte (V). A rich dark chocolate torte, filled and finished with swirls of coconut milk and praline on a nut and date base. Served with vanilla flavoured ice cream. (Ve) Vegan option available
