We are delighted to announce that from 9th April 2015* Swimyourswim (SYS) will be working in partnership with Doncaster Culture & Leisure Trust, to run open water swimming sessions at Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre.
Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre will be the third open water venue that SYS coach from, and we are looking forward to introducing swimmers from the Doncaster area (and beyond) to our core values and friendly style of coaching, which welcomes all abilities of swimmers, including novices. Our sessions will also be open to triathletes and longer-distance swimmers who are training for their events.
With a new swim course of 800m, utilising the whole of the lake, and a novice area for coaching this new venue is fantastically positioned to cater for all swimmers!
Open water swimming at Hatfield will be running on Saturdays, from 9am to 11am*, and Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm, with sessions costing £5
SYS will be providing full safety cover with our coaching staff who are qualified by the STA as Level 2 Open Water Swimming Coaches.
If you are new to open water swimming then why not book onto our iTOWS Course. The Introduction To Open Water Swimming course runs throughout the season – checkout the course details here. Courses will be running at Hatfield on Saturday mornings and cost £20 per person.
If you’re a budding triathlete or 
have entered an open water event our iTOWR Course might be worth considering… The Introduction To Open Water Racing courses are ideal if you’re training for your first triathlon or have entered into a charity swim such as the Great North Swim… You can find out about the iTOWR course here.
The SYS team will be at Hatfield to help you enjoy the water and swim your swim safely and with confidence.
The facilities at the water park are first rate, with showers and changing rooms, drinks facilities, on-site camping and a children’s play area, so you’ll find something to do for all the family even if they’re not swimming.
