We are delighted to announce that due to a very generous grant award from The JG Graves Charitable Trust we will be able to deliver swimming lessons for looked after children in the Sheffield area well into 2022.
This is a huge step forward for us in ensuring that looked after children are given the important life skill of being taught to swim, and having the same opportunities to expand their swimming abilities as other children do, into competitions and open water events.
The Grant award will be used solely for pool hire with SYS providing the coaching and teaching team free of charge, cementing our commitment to support looked after children in our area through our Gladmiral program which was started by Thomas Noblett and his fantastic team.
