We are having a Christmas party and we’d love you to be there. The Hatfields is great pub just around the corner from Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre, where we swim each week, and we’ll be having a 3 course Christmassy meal there on 15th December, from 7pm.
Tickets cost £15.50* each and you just need to book them through this site, and then let us know by email what you’d like from the following menu choices:
Parsnip & Celeriac Soup (V) – Topped with croutons, with a bread roll and butter.
Blueberry & Brie Tart (V) – An open cheese tart lled with blueberry chutney and creamy cheese sauce, decorated with a slice of Brie and blueberries. Served with a salad garnish and caramelised red onion chutney.
Highland Smoked Salmon & Prawn Rosette – A soft smoked salmon mousse, rich with prawns and cream cheese, wrapped in oak smoked salmon. Served with salad garnish, croutons and a mayonnaise dip.
Gressingham Duck® Pâté – A free range duck liver pâté made with Gressingham Duck®.
Served with a spiced orange and clementine chutney, toast and butter.
All the main courses are served with roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
Roast Turkey – Hand-carved and served with sage and onion stuf ng, pork, cranberry and apricot chipolatas and cranberry sauce.
Roast Beef – Hand-carved and served with Yorkshire pudding, pork, cranberry and apricot chipolatas and horseradish sauce.
Aubergine Timbale (V) – Moroccan influenced spiced brown rice, mixed with apricots and cranberries, wrapped in slices of aubergine, and topped with a sticky fruity glaze.
Salmon & Haddock Wellington – Salmon and haddock in spinach and Gruyére cheese sauce encased in puff pastry.
Christmas Pudding (V) – With brandy butter avoured ice cream.
Pear, Blueberry & Blackcurrant Tart (V) – A light pastry case filled with blueberries, blackberries and frangipane, topped with fresh pear and garnished with a sweet glaze. Served with custard.
Festive Spiced Cheesecake (V) – Sweet pastry filled with a creamy baked cheesecake, swirled with spiced fruits and topped with crunchy streusel crumble. Served with vanilla flavour ice cream.
Christmas Indulgence Sundae (V) – Chocolate and brandy butter avoured ice creams with delicious stollen pieces, topped with squirty cream, chocolate flakes, more stollen pieces and a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
