Winter Swim Club @ Activities Away

Swimyourswim are really pleased to announce that this years Winter Swim Club at Activities Away in Lincoln is due to start on Sunday 2nd November, starting at 9.30am.

The Winter Swim Club is designed to give open water swimmers a safe introduction to open water swimming in winter conditions.  During the course we will be offering coaching, training and experience to those swimmers who intend to take part in Chill Swim events, swim throughout the winter months or even attempt IceK and Ice Mile* swims.

Winter Swim Club will take place over 9  Sunday mornings spread over November, December and January (2015) and cost £135.  The course is open to swimmers who swim in skins or wetsuits.  Wetsuits are available for hired by contacting Steve at Activities Away.

The course fees include FREE entry to the Charity Boxing Day swim – which we hope everyone will attend and bring their families along to.

To book your place on the course please email steve@activities-away.com or leon@swimyourswim.com including in your email  your contact details. A member of our team will be in touch to confirm your place on the course and take your payment over the telephone.  If you are not able to pay via a debit or credit card over the telephone we will be able to take your full payment in cash on the first Sunday (2nd November).

If you have attended the previous Activities Away Winter Swim Club, which was run by our good friend Paul Fowler of 100% Swimming, and have therefore already received all the required safety training, you will be eligible to just get in and swim at our Winter Swim sessions as long as you have a swim-buddy in the water with you. (For previous Winter Swim Club participants these swims will cost £5 per session)
