This weekend saw us take our 100th open water ‘newbie’ through our Introduction To Open Water Swimming course! The iTOWS course is proving to be very popular with everyone taking part giving us tremendous feedback on how the course has helped them transition from pool swimming to the open water!
The picture above shows 12 iTOWS attendees who took part in the course at Harthill Reservoir, yesterday. All 12 of our swimmers can rightly call themselves ‘open water swimmers’ as they all did magnificently in the near tropical 15ºC water at Harthill with the team from Yorkshire Outdoor Swimmers.
So, what did you do yesterday? All our iTOWS swimmers can say ‘iSWAM’, and even do it in style with our iSWAM T-shirts available from our online store…
We’re only mid-way through May, and we’re actually at 103 iTOWS attendees already, but if you, or someone else you know, would like to join us and learn how to safely swim in open water please take a look at our coaching pages to find out how you can sign up to the iTOWS courses running this summer.
