A huge well done to all our swimmers who completed Coniston 2024 yesterday, the lake was perfectly calm, probably the best conditions we’ve had in the last 10 years.
As always these events couldn’t take place without the enormous team of wonderful volunteers who give up their time to help us help swimmers swim safely on these challenges. Their teamwork ensured that everyone successfully completed their swims, and as you’ll see from the photos below, lots of happy smiling faces at the end.
The water temp was 15.7ºC so whilst flat and calm the water was a little on the cool side making the completion of the swim even more special.
