Yesterday saw the completion of the second coach development day at The Swimcube.
Working in partnership with the awesome Stuart Hacker ( dragon tamer extraordinaire, ask him when you’re there ) we saw five experienced open water coaches attending the one day course in Northampton. The knowledge sharing from a group like this is just as important as the course content, in Cates words “it was great to spend the day with other swim nerds”.
As well as the in water time the course has been designed with video analysis and group discussions to enable the coaches to refine their skills in communicating and identifying stroke corrections, helping both them and their swimmers to improve in the pool and open water.
