SYS Aquathon - Hatfield
Description:
We are excited to announce this years SYS Aquathons will be held at both Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre AND Harthill Reservoir during the summer of 2016.
At Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre, the events will be on:
23rd April, 21st May, 18th June, 23rd July, 20th August and 17th September
These SWIM-RUN events will give entrants the choice of 2 courses -
The Short Course - this includes a swim of 250m and run of 1.6km
The Long Course - this consists of an 800m swim and 4.8km run.
The run route around the lake is a cross-country path.
Entrants MUST make their choice of course on the registration form.
The SYS Aquathon is open to all athletes and budding athletes alike - this is a fun event for all to enjoy.
The entrance fee for the event is ONLY £10.00 which includes your swim fee

(Oh, and just incase anyone asks: According to those much cleverer than us the words 'Aquathlon' or 'Aquathon' can both be used to describe a swim-run event. They are interchangeable. We are choosing AQUATHON, as we think it sounds better - and besides which, who says "marathlon"???? Ed.)
