Bala is a 3mile (5.5km) swim in one of the most scenic locations in North Wales. It is the start of our distance lake events and possibly the teams favourite location.
Bala, or to use it’s proper name ‘Llyn Tegid’, is a beautiful lake set in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales.
The swim will start at 10am on Sunday morning ( 16th June ) from Llangower public beach, near the railway station, and then follows the northwest shore, finishing at the slipway at the northern point of the Lake.
The team from SYS will be providing full safety support on the day.
Spaces are limited to 36 so you can enjoy the swim and concentrate on completing rather that competing.
