Good Luck Fiona and thank you…

With today being national thank you day we would like to say a huge thank you to all our swimmers, volunteers and partner organisations who’s help and support has been greatly appreciated since we started our little swimming adventure in 2013.

We would also like to take this opportunity to say a special thank you and good luck to one of our valued team members, Fiona McDonald Woods. Fiona is starting her new career path tomorrow.

From her initial introduction course in 2016, through to infamous channel crossings and, who we believe, is the only ice miler to have completed their ice mile whilst ( unknowingly ) pregnant. If the screams in her ice mile recovery were repeated anything near during her labour, the midwifes should also receive thanks today, we hope your ears have recovered, ours have never been the same.

Good luck Fiona, we hope you have a fantastic career, thank you for everything you’ve done for us and we hope to see you after your training.
