To bring a little light to winter 2020, given that events have been cancelled and our winter schedule is looking very different this year, we have decided it’s time to encourage people to enjoy the many benefits of winter swimming, to briefly escape the challenges of what’s happening on dry land.
We have seen a huge increase in new open water swimmers this season and would love to share the joy of winter swimming with as many of you as possible. Getting into cold water is never easy, but once you’re in, you have a great swim and you’re rewarded with a smile, not just any smile, an Ice Smile and we would like to recognise that with a badge ( who doesn’t love a badge ) .
If you swim with us weekly between the 24th of October and the 26th of December, completing 10 swims, you can collect your free ICE SMILE badge.
If you are unable to attend the 10 qualifying swims or are swimming elsewhere and would like a badge, you will be able to order on our Wix store from the end of October.
