Restart a Heart 2019

This year the Resuscitation Council (UK) along with the British Heart Foundation, British Red Cross, St John Ambulance and Yorkshire Ambulance Service will be working together to help CPR train as many people as possible in the UK and make sure they know how to save a life.

If you suffer an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in the UK you have less than a one in ten chance of surviving. We want to help change that.

World Restart a Heart Day is an annual initiative which aims to train as many people as possible in CPR in one day, so that more people know these life saving skills.

As part of the Restart a Heart initiative which took place on the 16th of October, SwimYourSwim will be running CPR training during the normal swim session on Saturday 19th of October Hatfield.

It’s open to everyone, so whether you just require a quick refresher or need to learn this potentially life saving skill from scratch, come and join in.

It’s completely free, and open to friends or relatives.

Everyone that takes part will get a certificate plus the confidence through training to act if needed.

See you there.
