We have a cracking weekend of swimming lined up – and by all accounts it promises to be great start to the summer swimming season!
Saturday – we have open water swimming at ALL THREE of our open water venues:
Activities Away, near Lincoln – from 10-12noon
Hatfield Outdoor Activities Centre, near Doncaster – from 8-10am
Harthill Reservoir, near Sheffield – from 1.30-3.30pm
All our open water venues have been seeing water temperatures of 11(+)ºC this last week – so for those of you who have been waiting for double figure temperatures, there really is no excuse now!
Sunday – we have a coached lane swimming session at Aston Leisure Centre, from 5-6pm
If you would like to come to the coached lane session please add your name to our Facebook post to ensure your place.
Don’t forget that we are running our iTOWS courses at ALL our open water venues throughout the summer season – so if you have never swum in open water and have an event planned then the Introduction To Open Water Swimming Course is the one for you. You can sign up for a course online here – simply choose the date and venue of the course on the event calendar and follow the onscreen instructions.
