This weekend saw the first Swimyourswim ‘3 Lakes Challenge’ event take place with 10 swimmers taking part in swimming one mile in each of three venues.
The swim began at 8am in Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre, Doncaster with the team starting their first timed mile, after which they journeyed to Activities Away, Lincoln to complete their second mile, and then onto Harthill Reservoir, Sheffield in the afternoon for their third and final mile swim.*
All the swimmers did a magnificent job – even surviving the seizing up of joints during the drives in-between venues!
