New for 2022 and in partnership with The Swimcube, The Outdoor Swimming Company and Nick Hinde, Swimyourswim will be co hosting an AWEsome opportunity for you to join us in Scotland for a 3 day swim camp on June 2nd -5th.
Located in the beautiful Torran Bay on Loch Awe you’ll be in for a packed few days of swimming and coaching designed to help you improve your technique & endurance, prepare you for an upcoming event or simply maximise your enjoyment of the open water.
This swim camp is suitable for everyone from the novice looking to improve their front crawl in the safety of the bay or for the more experienced swimmer the opportunity to complete a 2 or 6 hour swim surrounded by the stunning scenery of Loch Awe.
You will be supported throughout by the team of experienced open water coaches and safety crew.
The camp will include video analysis and coaching to support you in achieving a more efficient stroke, guidance in exercises to improve swim specific strength and reduce the risk of injury. Plus discussions on nutrition, training and mindfulness for those long training swims.
Activities–
Swimming – guided swims
Night swim – illuminated night swim
Bay swims – daily swims ideal for the novice or beginner
Loch swims – guided 2hr intermediate swim & 6hr advanced swim
Video analysis – reviews and technique corrections in group discussions
Training examples – training plan help for your progression
Nutrition – group discussion
Stretching programme – morning session for safe stretching exercises
Pop up conversations – topics of swimmers choice hosted by the coaches
Kayaking – experienced ? bring your own kayak, there are lots of islands to explore
Stand Up Paddle boarding, they’ll be plenty of opportunity to paddle board in the bay
Running – unguided routes available from site
Cycling – unguided rides available from site – look into the Caledonian way, don’t forget your bike.
Accommodation.
The self-catering accommodation comprises of
16 en-suite bedrooms
- 8 Forest View Rooms
- 8 Loch View rooms with a balcony
We are flexible to the needs of our guests and the rooms can be arranged in different combinations (subject to advance notice and availability)

We provide the following in all rooms

2 large fully equipped kitchens/lounge areas
The kitchens are equipped with large electric range cookers, microwave oven and fridge freezers.
The lounge areas are equipped with a TV and DVD player. In addition we have a selection of board games.
*Please note we will do our best to facilitate all guests in their chosen room allocations but depending on numbers and requirements there may be a small chance that sharing a same sex room may be a possibility.
Meals
Breakfast
We provide a continental breakfast which includes the following

- tea & coffee
Lunch
Lunch is not provided due to the activities being undertaken and times etc. The kitchens are available to make a packed lunch or prepare a hot meal so please feel free to bring your own. There is a local co op twenty minutes from site..
Evening Meal
