On New Years Eve this intrepid band of winter swimmers braved the very cold waters of Harthill Reservoir. The water temperature was down to 2.4ºC and there was still Christmas snow on the ground. A brilliant swim by all who took part – followed by hot soup and cake to warm up!!! (Thanks Ian!)
Our Winter Swim Clubs continue throughout the winter months on Saturday afternoons at Harthill Reservoir, Sheffield and Sunday mornings at Activities Away, Lincoln. Please check out our calendar for exact times as they can vary.

AND FINALLY SOME BREAKING NEWS – we have a preliminary date for an Ice Mile attempt on Monday 19th January. We’ll confirm dates and times soon – but if you can make it to support the guys and gals (who are looking to swim 1 mile in water under 5ºC) I’m sure they’d appreciate it!
