Record Breaking Weekend

Thanks to a scorcher of a weekend we’ve had a record breaking Easter, with water temperatures rising to a sizzling 14.7ºC at Thrybergh.

Saturday afternoon also saw 9 new swimmers venturing into the open water after attending the introduction to open water swimming course (ITOWS) . The course was hosted by Jane, Angela and Chris Hill, all qualified level 2 open water coaches with lots of open water experience between them.

We look forward to welcoming all of the course attendees back soon.

This was the third introduction course of the season, so if you’re thinking of joining us for a swim and haven’t started your open water journey yet, the ITOWS course is a great place to start the transition from pool to open water.
