We have just returned from an amazing weekend in the Lake District which saw some fantastic swims as part of our Swim Coniston 2016 event. On Saturday, our swimmers completed an end to end swim of the lake, or a one mile swim across the lake. We are very proud of ALL the swimmers who took part – who aged between 10 and 80 years ‘young’.
As ever, Swim Coniston was was supported by a brilliant team of volunteers – kayakers, water safety and ground crew – who made the event possible, so we would like to say a MASSIVE THANKYOU to each of them!
We are beginning to plan for Swim Coniston 2017… perhaps you fancy joining us so that you can say ‘I SWAM!’…
