This years final SYS Aquathon at Harthill Reservoir was a fantastic event and saw the Long Course race won by Tony Ditchburn and the Short Course by Robyn Dyson – who has now won ALL THREE of this seasons short course events!!!
EVERY athlete taking part today should be very proud of themselves – well done to everyone who took part! We’d also like to that the incredible supporters who were in attendance and very vocal (especially when the grass snake decided to enter the swim section!!!)
Over this years SYS Aquathon season we have had the privilege of working with two great teams, without whom these events would not have been possible! So, we’d like to send out a massive thank you to the volunteers from Yorkshire Outdoor Swimmers and Chesterfield Triathlon Club, who did an amazing job providing swim and run safety cover! THANK YOU!
